Buy a Digital Camera

                                       Buy a Digital Camera

1. Some things you should consider before choose a digital camera for buying,is:
• What kind of camera you need?
• What style of photography that you like? (Portrait or landscape)
• In a place where you take pictures? (In the room or outdoors)
• Do you use automatic or manual mode when taking pictures?
Ask yourself these questions about this before you go to buy a camera and you will be able to make decisions when you see what is offered to you.
2. Megapixels are not everything but it is one thing that is important
One of the features that you see before you buy digital camera is how many megapixels the camera.
If you only print the pictures in normal size then resolution of 5 megapixels already be in use. A high quality 6 megapixel sensor will produce better quality photographs than a lesser quality 10 megapixel camera.
3. Choose the appropriate additional equipment
Speaking about the additional tools, if you have a digital camera accessory from before then can be added with your new digital camera.
For example: memory cards, batteries, lenses, flash, filters etc.
4.Digital SLR can make the choice
Increasingly affordable digital SLR but not for everyone. Keep in mind that they are usually larger, heavier, but more elegant.
5. Optical zoom
When you're looking at different models of digital camera you will often hear there are two ways to raise optics. First there is the 'optical zoom' and the second way is the 'digital zoom'.
I would highly recommend that you only consider the 'optical zoom' when making the decision to buy a digital camera. Digital zoom will only magnify pixels in an image and do not make your subject look bigger.
If you want to buy a zoom lens make sure it's optical zoom (for a modern digital camera has a 3x magnification of at least-that they will make your subject three times larger - with a variety of growing 'super zoom' into the market up to 12x magnification). Optical zoom uses the lens, itself to bring a more distant objects closer.
6. Read Article
Before you buy digital camera should you take the time to do a little research. Do not just rely on word of the seller.
Read some reviews of digital camera magazines or online to help you make choices. There are some great sites that provide tser reviews on almost every camera on the market.
7. See the Brand names
Brand names can help you make decisions based on the quality of the image, sometimes a cheap camera can satisfy your need for the camera.
8. Comfort in holding the camera.
Some great camera to have a less comfortable hand grip. The grip just have to fill the inside curve of your fingers. A small camera that has no grip at all makes it difficult to grasp.
9. Consider the speed in taking the Picture / photo: lots of cheap cameras have a long lag time between pressing the button and actually taking the picture. If you will take pictures of your kids, or sports and other events photo, this is something that should be considered. Also, consider the frame rate constant. For continuous frame rate of at least 5 frames per second is desired. The camera must be able to take 5 frames per second, or at least 4 seconds before the internal memory buffer is full. Camera with a slower frame rate or less continuous internal memory buffer will make us disappointed.
10. Type of battery is something to consider: Many cameras use proprietary batteries, instead of standard AA batteries. Consider that one day, the battery that came with your camera will stop working, and you will need to get a replacement. Your battery will generally die when we do not want, for example the first day of your vacation, or when your daughter's wedding. Proprietary battery must be fully charged and ready for use. Good idea to have a spare battery charged and ready for use at any time.
11. Weight Amount and Quality: A digital SLR will deliver better picture quality and can be easier to operate than point and shoot pictures. However, it will feel heavier and more expensive. But in the final image quality will be very useful in the long run.
12. Memory card formats: SD (Secure Digital) cards are the most popular format in the consumer camera, they are available in capacities up to 32GB. Standard Compact Flash card is the latest in a higher SLR, and is available in capacities up to 32GB as well. Compact Flash card format has been used since 1994, Compact Flash drive and associated software drivers are compatible with virtually all operating systems.
13. Images on accessories: Most cameras are not accompanied by a memory card or card reader. Additional accessories are sold separately. And do not forget extra batteries is a set and a charger. Choose memory card with enough capacity to accommodate at least 400 JPEG images at the highest resolution camera which is equivalent to 11 rolls of 36-exposure film.
14. Exposure Control
The ability to control exposure settings such as shutter speed and lens aperture is essential for professional photographers. Cheap digital cameras only allow you to take photos in automatic mode - just press the shutter release and voila, your picture is taken. Professional users prefer to tweak the shutter speed and aperture to capture fast moving objects or blur the background image. Choose a camera with exposure control is better if you take photography as a hobby.
